Ingredients:
Organically raised 100% grass-fed & finished Tasmanian beef tallow, certified organic cold-pressed Australian extra virgin olive oil, certified organic lemon myrtle & eucalyptus essential oils.
Beef Tallow: Beef tallow has been revered in skincare throughout history, dating back to ancient civilizations like the Egyptians and Greeks. It’s rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins such as A, D, E, and K, which deeply moisturize and nourish the skin. These nutrients help maintain skin elasticity, promote repair, and provide a protective barrier against environmental stressors, making beef tallow a valued ingredient for healthy and radiant skin.
Olive Oil: Rich in antioxidants like vitamin E and polyphenols, which help protect the skin from free radicals and environmental damage. It's deeply moisturizing, soothes dryness, and can improve skin elasticity and tone. Olive oil is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for calming irritation and redness.
Storage & Application:
Before applying tallow balm, ensure your hands are clean and dry. Take a small amount (a little goes a long way!) and rub it between your palms to soften it. Gently massage into skin - dry areas such as elbows, knees, or hands & feet, or use it as an overall moisturizer for the face and body.
Tallow balm is solid at room temperature due to its composition of saturated fats, akin to butter, but softens upon contact with skin warmth. It can harden in cold environments; this is normal and doesn’t indicate a change in quality. Simply warming it between your hands or briefly exposing it to a slightly warmer environment will soften it for use. Likewise, when our tallow balm is warmed to body temperature or exposed to warmer conditions it softens and becomes easier to apply.
Lasts up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
*Note: If you have skin sensitivities, it’s always best to do a patch test on a small area of the skin first.
